Hi!

I’m a lifelong student of computing writing about the things that interest me.

I’m currently working as a Software Architect at Lockheed Martin Space where I support projects related to AI path planning, computer vision, and quantum machine learning. I’ve supported remote sensing missions for planetary science in deep space and for early missile warning on Earth.

I’m also a PhD student at CSU where I study hardware-software co-design and write about model compression.

I’m happily married to my best friend. We celebrate our anniversary once every four years (she’s my leap day love).

In 2016, we founded and later successfully sold an award-winning bookstore and coffee shop. In 2022 we bought and remodeled our 100-year-old home in Arkansas. We have a tortoiseshell cat named Evelyn and a few dozen koi fish.
